In December 2017, the Marysville Police Department  responded to a report of an emaciated dog named Wilson.

Upon investigating the report, they found him extremely thin, cold, and weak and suffering from a severe eye infection.

Pasado’s Safe Haven was asked to hold him as evidence in an on-going cruelty case and care for him during his stay.

Wilson spent 3 months in our care before his former owner, successfully charged and convicted with animal cruelty in the 2nd degree, relinquished ownership.

Today, thanks to the care of our clinic team and your support of our Cruelty Investigations & Rescue Team, Wilson is feeling happy and loved.

He recently went to a loving foster home who is giving him the caring home-life he always deserved!

You can make an animal this happy and give us a chance to rescue another animal in need. Learn more about adoption or foster.
