Intern with Pasado's Safe Haven

Pasado's Safe Haven offers a variety of internships related to our mission to end animal cruelty. From animal care to communications and more, you can find an opportunity that provides valuable skills and real-world understanding.

Cooking and Culinary Events

Work side-by-side with our experienced Culinary Programs Manager learning vegan cooking techniques and proper food prep and food handling procedures for events. Pasado’s offers a unique experience in nonprofit event planning including food service and how adopting a vegan diet can help save animals and the environment.

Education

Work side by side with our Education team and help make the future a better place for animals. As a Humane Education Intern, you will gain valuable experience in outreach, event planning, and curriculum development. Approximate time requirements are 15 to 20 hours a week for a minimum of 3 months.

Animal Care

Our animal care interns work side-by-side with our experienced caregivers and veterinarians learning techniques and proper care methods for the special needs of our rescued animals. Pasado’s Safe Haven offers an in-depth look at the many layers that are involved in animal sanctuaries, including the rescue and welfare of our residents.
