Pierce County Pet Food Bank- Orting Food Bank, Orting

January 24 @ 12:00 pm

The Pierce County Pet Food Bank Program partners with human food banks in order to provide pet food to companion animals in need. In order to participate in the program, clients need to provide proof of limited household income, unemployment, disability, or qualifying government assistance such as food stamps, WIC, or SSI. Clients must also agree that pets are for companionship and not for breeding or any illegal activities. Clients who have unaltered pets will be unable to receive more than one month of food without proof that they have altered their pets or provide medical proof that they are unable to be altered. Clients who participate must agree not to add any animals to their household while they are receiving food from the program.

Please understand that this food is meant to supplement the food supply for your companion animals and may not be able to completely support their dietary needs. We cannot guarantee specific brands or types of food will be available.

Clients arriving at the food bank will be helped in the order that they arrive and the pet food bank will continue to distribute food as long as supplies are available or until all clients have been helped. If you have any questions or concerns regarding our food bank events, please contact project coordinator Dan Nutt at 360.913.1481 or dann@pasadosafehaven.org
