This musical boy can’t wait to find perfect harmony with his forever family…
Moby is a lover who talks as well as he listens. This musical boy loves greeting his humans at the door, and he has quite a vocabulary, too! His happy purrs fill the room and he’s always excited to receive attention. Moby is a 7-year-old domestic shorthair with a soft gray coat and an even softer heart. His kind, golden eyes always smile, and he loves to be in tune with people. Despite being rescued from serious neglect (read about his history here), Moby is tolerant, loving, and happy.
Moby has the Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV), which is chronic but treatable with medication that he receives twice a week. Moby tolerates the treatments well and he’s an excellent patient. While FeLV can be transmitted to other cats, Moby can live safely with other species of furry family members.
FeLV is only transmissible between cats, and because of this risk, Moby has to live indoors full-time. But Moby doesn’t mind – he’s a true “couch potato” cat who dreams of spending lazy afternoons
and snuggly evenings with his own special someone.
This sweet boy hopes to find his home soon. Because of his condition, Moby lives separately from the non-FeLV
cats here at Kitty City. While Moby does
have visitors, he would love to have a
full-time family.
On his slower days, Moby is quiet and
sleepy, but he appreciates human affection
all the more. On his good days, Moby’s
mighty heart truly shines through: he’s
attentive, vocal, and looking for a lap to
share.
