They need your support!
Legislation is being proposed for the 2010 legislative session that will help fund tens of thousands of additional spay/neuter surgeries for cats and dogs throughout Washington.
We need to support this legislation to help prevent animal homelessness and save animals' lives.
Your help is essential to getting a bill passed next session.

Pasado’s Safe Haven
is committed to spaying and neutering
efforts to control the local dog and cat populations.
We are passionate about the rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming companion animals, but some of the most important work that we do ensures that there will be fewer homeless pets in the future. Over this holiday season, the Spay Station was out in full force and decked out in festive decorations for the surgeries that took place the week before Christmas.
The Spay Station’s canine mascots, Sunny and
Thoreau, were stylin’ in the seasonally-inspired
bandanas that were given to each dog.
Our holiday helpers posed with Santa hats and plenty of yuletide cheer (Cindy with Oz, Jen with Finn, Dr. Karen with Sonja, Joy with Thoreau and Sunny, Kat with Bessie, and Kathryn holding the newest helper, Roo).
The Spay Station’s newest canine mascot, Roo, was adopted from The Humane Society of Skagit Valley, where he had been found as a stray. Kat carefully carried
Kitty Klaus on board the Spay Station.
Bailey, an 8-month-old Golden Retriever, could hardly contain her
excitement. Her family saw information about the Spay Station
on Craig’s List, and when her boarding time came, she scampered right up the stairs.
Many thanks to the management and staff of the
Ferndale Country Store for hosting the Spay Station (Sharon, store manager with Chloe, Diane, Jeni with Felix, Christine, and L.T. posed for a Holiday picture)
Spaying so many beloved cats and dogs was a wonderful way to celebrate the holiday season. Thank you to all of the staff and volunteers who helped make 2009 a successful year of spaying and neutering. And thank you to the devoted pet owners who made the healthiest choice for their pets by bringing them to the Spay Station. Would you like to help us continue this important work? Your donation can help us continue to prevent unwanted litters and save those who are already waiting at area shelters.
Thank you – from all of the animals at Pasado’s Safe Haven.

to ask your employer to match your donation)
