Lively Lilly

Lilly’s big, brown eyes could just melt your heart – and she has quite a story to tell, as well. Not long ago, this pretty pup was a member of a loving family, and it shows with her attentive demeanor. Lilly loves nothing more in the world than human attention and she truly aims to please, so losing her loved ones must have been especially hard on this devoted dog.

Lively Lilly came to Pasado’s Safe Haven after her owners relinquished her. Their home was lost due to a foreclosure and suddenly Lilly found herself homeless. She arrived at an area shelter, where she waited for her family to return for her…but they never did. Lilly has gone through a lot in the past few months, but despite the trauma of losing her family, she’s hopeful and looking for love once again. This sweet 6-year-old Pointer mix now lives at Dog Towne, where she patiently waits for her special someone.

Lilly is a pretty, medium-sized girl with a short black and white coat and a sleek physique. She always wears her lovely smile and attentively watches your every move. Always energetic and rarin’ to go, Lilly would make a great companion for someone who enjoys hiking, running, or getting back into tip-top shape for the new year.

Lilly knows the command for “sit,” and will promptly plant herself on the ground with her tail still enthusiastically thumping the floor. Lilly still needs some finishing work on her leash and house manners, but she’s an enthusiastic learner. Lilly she can’t wait to start her lessons with a loving family.

From her devoted, kind attitude, we know that Lilly would make a very loyal companion. While she would love to have a canine sibling, she does have a tendency to chase cats. Lilly can’t wait to start the new year off with a fresh start and her own forever family.
