What Happens To Those Left Behind?

We’re no strangers to angels here at Pasado’s Safe Haven.  They arrive on our doorstep regularly to help animals in pain.  They save little souls every day, from neglect, loneliness and heartbreak.  They help them heal and learn to trust the world once again.  Yetta learned about our angels when his family suddenly moved away and left him locked in the bathroom.  They took the time to inform the neighbors that they could have whatever was left behind in the house, but they didn’t take the time to make sure Yetta was cared for.   Neighbors were shocked to discover this sweet boy abandoned and left for dead.  Luckily, someone knew one of Pasado’s angels and contacted her immediately.

Unfortunately, Yetta’s story is not unusual.  Every day we learn of more and more pets who watch their families pack their belongings and disappear overnight.   Many are left in foreclosed homes without food or water and in freezing temperatures.   The economy and housing crisis has created a greater need for rescue groups like Pasado’s to step in and provide the basics until a new home can be found for an abandoned pet.

Thanks to his guardian angel, Yetta is now recovering from his ordeal in Misty’s Kitty City.  Despite being betrayed in the worse possible way, Yetta longs to have his very own family once again, one who won’t see him as a disposable companion.

Yetta is a very social boy with a sweet disposition, declawed, polydactyl and has a clean bill of health!  All that’s missing is his next guardian angel, because you can never have too many!  To arrange your meet and greet with Yetta, email us here!
