We could not have been more pleased. The letter came, we opened, with bated breath, and let out a huge cheer! Pasado's did it again!

Pasado’s Safe Haven has been rated a coveted 4-Star Charity for a record five years in a row for sound fiscal management.

According to Charity Navigator, the nation’s premiere independent evaluator of charities:

“Only 4% of all charities rated by Charity Navigator have received at least 5 consecutive 4-Star evaluations, indicating that Pasado’s Safe Haven consistently executes its mission in a fiscally responsible way, and outperforms most charities in America.

The only way that we can help animals is with your help. Our job is to get "down and dirty", pull on our boots, and get into the trenches to save animals. We do, quite simply, what the other animal orgs do not  - that is our "mission": to "fills the voids let unanswered by other shelters" - 24-hour rescue, cruelty investigations, prosecution and convictions of perpetrators of animal cruelty, writing and passing a records number of animal cruelty laws (4 in 4 years!), unique pet sterilization programs, A.A.R.F.F., The American Association of Retired Felines & Fidos - one of the first senior dog and cat sanctuaries in the U.S., and of course, farm animals - saving those sentient beings, no one else does.

But your role, (if you don't mind us assigning you one!) is to come on out and volunteer or, if you can't, write a check. Sorry to be blunt. But together, we make an unbeatable team!

Over 35,000 spay/neuters on-board The Spay Station have been accomplished with your help. Hundreds of dogs, cats, and farm animals have been rescued from euthanasia, abuse, neglect, or abandonment because of you.
