MONKEY
Monkey is one of those dogs
that has such a sweet spirit that it makes your soul ache. One look into his
soulful eyes and you will see that he is extremely smart and is a very quick
learner. He is the first pit bull terrier mix to successfully have been
flown out of the St. Bernard Parish shelter since Hurricane Katrina. He
would not have had a second chance there and his rescue truly saved his
life.
Monkey just wants so badly to be loved. He loves to lay in your lap and have
his chest rubbed. He closes his eyes in contentment to let you know just how
much he appreciates the attention. He also loves to hike! He is a funny,
quirky little guy that will keep you laughing! He has the funniest bark you
could ever hear and he loves to play with his toys.

Loyal
True to his breed Loyal is a big, loveable
goofball who enjoys food and anything else he can get his paws on, except
cats! Loyal is indeed one loyal dog who is looking for someone to tag along
with and offer a lifetime of friendship. He’s a good ‘ol boy, who would make
a fine companion for anyone who is looking for a happy, devoted dog.
Loyal prefers a home
without cats but like other dogs and children. He is 10 yrs old. |

Bitsy and Pixel
These two shy
little darlings are Bitsy and Pixel, Miniature Pinschers rescued from a local
animal shelter. It is believed they were likely dumped on the street by
breeders after they outlived their usefulness as productive breeding dogs.
Bitsy and Pixel weigh twelve and nine pounds respectively. Apparently, they
are not aware that they are smaller in stature than the other dogs. They have
found a friend in our lively Terrier/Mastiff dog, Monkey, and occasionally
like to give him a good natured hard time.
These girls are seeking a patient owner that they can finally develop a
lifetime of trust with. |

Missy
Missy is a friendly and happy dog, who is
compatible with other animals and loves to be with people as much as
possible. She is affectionate and has a great personality. Missy is an
active dog, who enjoys long walks and hikes.
Missy is 10 yrs old and 65 lbs. |
